Working with officials from SheriffWebsites.com, Craig County Sheriff Heath Winfrey has launched a new website for his department.
The website is designed to communicate with the Craig County community. It features information about the sheriff’s office, press releases, inmate visitor information, cold cases, most wanted fugitives in the area, and a careers portal.
“We are pleased to have our new website up and running as 2020 begins,” Winfrey said. “Our department strives to provide resources for our community, and we see this as one more tool for the people we serve.”
Winfrey took office in January 2017. Upon taking office, Winfrey set a goal to create a professional environment at the sheriff’s office to serve the county’s residents best. One way was to create a professional social media page using Facebook and a professional and informative website.
“It is a pleasure working with the Sheriff and staff at Craig County Sheriff’s Office,” Anderson said. “Sheriff Winfrey’s goal was to create a professional website that serves his office and the community. The new website has achieved both goals, and we are excited to see how it helps his department.”
